Bartley respects your privacy and processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Bartley processes personal data that you voluntarily provide when you register with us, contact us or communicate with us via WhatsApp or other channels. This includes your name, phone number, email address, CV information, work experience, education, preferred job roles, region or place of residence, availability and any additional information you choose to share. We also process communication data such as WhatsApp or email messages, as well as technical information such as timestamps and your subscription or unsubscription status regarding job alerts.
We process this information in order to match candidates with job opportunities, to contact you about relevant work matters, to assess your suitability for job positions, to send job updates or related information via WhatsApp with your consent, and to perform administrative tasks such as contract processing and fulfilling legal obligations. Data is processed only when there is a lawful basis, including consent, legitimate interest, legal obligation or when necessary for the performance of a contract.
When you communicate with Bartley via WhatsApp, you do so through an official WhatsApp Business account. Meta Platforms may process certain metadata such as timestamps. Bartley processes only the content you voluntarily share. We use WhatsApp communication solely after receiving your explicit consent. You can withdraw this consent at any moment by sending “STOP” via WhatsApp, after which your number is removed from our messaging list.
We only share your data with third parties when necessary, such as with clients you have shown interest in or provided consent for, or with trusted software providers used for administrative and communication purposes. All external partners operate under GDPR-compliant data processing agreements. Bartley does not sell personal data to third parties.
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary. Candidate information is stored for a maximum of one year after the last interaction, unless you provide consent for a longer retention period. Documents we are legally required to retain will be stored for as long as the law requires. WhatsApp messages are retained for no longer than three months and may be deleted or anonymised earlier if appropriate.
Bartley implements secure technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. These measures include secure connections, limited access rights and encrypted storage where appropriate.
You have the right to access your personal data, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, object to processing or request data portability. Requests can be submitted via info@bartley.nl

Wij verwerken deze gegevens om kandidaten te kunnen matchen met vacatures, om contact met je op te nemen over werkgerelateerde zaken, om jouw geschiktheid te beoordelen, om vacature-updates of relevante informatie via WhatsApp te sturen wanneer je hiervoor toestemming hebt gegeven en om administratieve processen uit te voeren, zoals contractafhandeling en het voldoen aan wettelijke verplichtingen. De verwerking van persoonsgegevens gebeurt uitsluitend wanneer er sprake is van een geldige grondslag, waaronder toestemming, gerechtvaardigd belang, wettelijke verplichting of de noodzaak voor het uitvoeren van een overeenkomst.
Wanneer je via WhatsApp communiceert met Bartley, maak je gebruik van een officieel WhatsApp Business-account. Meta Platforms kan in dit kader bepaalde metadata verwerken, zoals tijdstippen van berichtuitwisseling. Wij verwerken uitsluitend de inhoud van berichten die jij vrijwillig met ons deelt. Wij gebruiken WhatsApp-communicatie alleen wanneer jij hier vooraf toestemming voor hebt gegeven. Je kunt je toestemming op ieder moment intrekken door “STOP” te sturen via WhatsApp, waarna wij jouw nummer onmiddellijk verwijderen uit onze verzendlijst.
Wij delen jouw gegevens uitsluitend met derden wanneer dit noodzakelijk is, bijvoorbeeld met opdrachtgevers waarvoor je interesse hebt getoond of toestemming hebt gegeven, of met softwareleveranciers die wij gebruiken voor communicatie- en administratiedoeleinden. Alle partijen waarmee wij gegevens delen werken conform de AVG onder een verwerkersovereenkomst. Bartley verkoopt nooit persoonsgegevens aan externe partijen.
Persoonsgegevens worden niet langer dan noodzakelijk bewaard. Kandidaatgegevens worden maximaal één jaar bewaard na het laatste contact, tenzij je toestemming geeft voor een langere bewaartermijn. Documenten die wij verplicht moeten bewaren op grond van wetgeving worden opgeslagen zolang dit wettelijk is vereist. WhatsApp-berichten worden maximaal drie maanden bewaard en kunnen eerder worden verwijderd of geanonimiseerd indien dat passend is.
Bartley neemt passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om persoonsgegevens te beschermen tegen verlies, misbruik en onbevoegde toegang. Dit omvat onder meer beveiligde verbindingen, beperkte toegangsrechten en versleutelde opslag waar relevant.
Je hebt het recht om jouw persoonsgegevens in te zien, te laten corrigeren of te laten verwijderen, om jouw toestemming in te trekken, om bezwaar te maken tegen verwerking en om overdracht van jouw gegevens naar een andere organisatie te verzoeken.
